David W. Wells
Shaped by his South Arkansas roots, David joined McMath Woods as an associate in 2025 and believes even the most complex problems deserve to be broken down and communicated in a clear, straightforward way. His practice includes medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, environmental, and appellate matters. He spent two years with the Arkansas Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, developing a strong foundation in Arkansas legal procedure, and later externed under Chief Judge Brandon Harrison. In 2022, the Arkansas Supreme Court appointed him to the Build Initiative advisory committee, where he helped modernize the state’s judicial management system—experience that informs how he builds and presents cases before judges and juries. In 2024, the Law School Admission Council selected him to design and teach its global summer LSAT curriculum, recognizing his precision in legal reasoning and communication. He earned his J.D. from the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law and served on the UALR Law Review.
