Little Tikes Recalls 1.7 Million Toy Tools Over Choking Threat

Published on Sep 28, 2011 at 11:21 pm in Consumer Awareness.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of 1.7 million Little Tikes toy tool sets and trucks due to a potential choking hazard. The toy sets contain small toy nails that can become lodged in the throat if accidentally swallowed. The company issued a similar recall in 2009 after two children were hospitalized after swallowing the toy nails. https://www.reuters.com/article/2011/09/28/usa-toys-recall-idUSS1E78R09A20110928
