Published on Apr 30, 2012 at 2:10 pm in Consumer Awareness.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of 3,000 Gerber Instant Knives due to a laceration risk. The agency said the locking mechanism on the knife may fail to engage, casing the blade to fold closed during use, potentially injuring the user. There have been no injuries reported.  https://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml12/12163/
