Big Lots Recalls Glider Recliners with Ottomans Due to Entrapment and Finger Crushing Hazards

Published on Oct 27, 2011 at 2:53 pm in Consumer Awareness.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of 375,000 various Glider recliners with ottomans sold at Big Lots stores. The agency said exposed spaces between moving parts of the chair can create areas for toddlers and babies to become trapped. There have been two reports of small children being trapped at the neck between horizontal components of the chairs. https://www.sacbee.com/2011/10/25/4005566/big-lots-recalls-glider-recliners/
