Arkansas’s Petroleum Storage Tank Trust Fund Issues Record Payout

Published on Mar 4, 2013 at 3:24 pm in Environmental.

Last week the Arkansas Petroleum Storage Tank Trust Fund issued a payment of $992,500 to Harps Food Stores.  The payout results from a Petromark gas station leak that caused the Yellville location of Harps to close for nearly two weeks in 2011.  In addition to the $992,500 paid by the State of Arkansas, Petromark will pay a $7,500 deductible and an additional $400,000 to Harps.  Sam Ledbetter of McMath Woods P.A. represented Harps Food Stores in this matter.  For additional details on the record settlement, please see the linked Thursday, February 28, 2013 article in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.  https://epaper.arkansasonline.com/Repository/getFiles.asp?Style=OliveXLib:ArticleToMailGifMSIE&Type=text/html&Path=ArDemocrat/2013/02/28&ID=Ar00903&Locale=&ChunkNum=0
